Judge Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for an opening with one of our top clients in the Carmel, IN area ASAP! Position Details : Title : Certified Medical Assistant Location : Carmel, IN 46032 Type of engagement : Contract to Hire Hours : Monday - Friday 8am-5 : 00pm Specific Duties :
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment & instruments
- Room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs
- Document patient care using electronic medical record software
- Administer medications and perform injections / immunizations
- Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing
- Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals and answer patient calls as needed
Requirements / Qualifications :
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant diploma, technical certificate or certification
- 1 years of experience performing the critical skills of a medical assistant after on-the-job training
